Games and Puzzles

These require a Java-enabled browser:

• Septangle. Puzzle invented, and Java applet written, by Paul Nahay.
• Mega Tic Tac Toe. Game implemented as a Java applet by Paul Nahay.

These require a JavaScript-enabled browser:

• The Sliding Block Puzzle.  Programmed by Paul Nahay.
• The Six Squares Game.  Game invented, and JavaScript program written, by Paul Nahay.  Although it's a game you play against the computer, it's sort of a puzzle, too, because the challenge is to figure out how to beat it within a certain number of moves.
• Three Cards.  This is a simple, but interesting probability problem that stumps most people.
• The Bush-Gore Shuffle.  Political satire combined with a classic "jumping counters" puzzle!
